HI WORLD, GUESS WHAT. (okay im gonna let you guess for awhile) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . pam's getting braces! according to my dentist, getting braces is no longer an alternative but a necessity cos apparently i have what they call an "open bite", which essentially means that i'm not really using my front teeth to chew on food but rather the ones at the back of the mouth. so because they are kind of overworked, they would "break". so so so braces it is! gonna extract four teeth. sigggggggghhhhh I'M SUCH A WIMP I SWEAR. i was already clutching onto the sides of the chair during the cleaning hahaha. so xrays begin in januaaary. 8th i think HAHA. and the braces are gonna come on in the second or third week, can't remember. sigh, no bakkwa for me this cny. it's a two year thing, the dentist said apologetically. in my head i was thinking ISN'T BRACES A THREE YEAR THING?! okay nevermind la, i just hope the braces don't feel weird or piss me off in any way. OKAY THINK POSITIVE THINK POSITIVE. and yay my teeth look damn shiny and clean now anyway should i get CERAMIC or METAL! haha wonder how i'd look like with two rows of straight teeeth.
oh no christmas is cominggg arghhh christmas shopping phaaaaail. and deciding what i want for christmas is as hard as buying gifts for others. rawr. aunt's bringing us out for christmas shopping. guess i'll get myself a blowtorch and a sexy microplane grater. haha. lalala surfing net now trying to get inspiration as to what to get peopleee. last year's scented sugar-christmas tree idea came last minute toooo. haha it's abit stressful with christmas 5 days away BUT HEY IT'S CHRISTMAS YO TIS THE SEASON TO BE MERRRRRRY :D yay this song's looping in my head, and it makes me happppy:
hi world its 12:23am now and i'm immensely tired. the day started off with rania and i meeting up at dhoby ghaut to get tickets to watch AVATAR since today's opening day. thankfully we got two tickets cos i thought the theater would be really packed. we headed to get ramen first at chinatown. but we couldn't locate it on the map so i called shoban whose knowledge of singapore is really quite commendable. yeah found out that it's at clarke quay or something. so finally managed to get to the place. ramen was good, at least mine was haha. i got the aka ramen, while rania got the original ramen. love the broth. as we were heading back to the mrt station, i saw guang. singapore is too small really. the conversation went something like "what are you doing here" "no what are YOU doing here" "oh... i'm on a food trail!" "uh okay okay byebye". then rania and i headed off to have fried durian ice cream at new majestic hotel, followed by pastry at mirabelle (to sneak into the cinema). food trail ended at 320 which was perfect timing since the movie started at 340. halfway into the movie, there was a slight pause. but thank god for that cos rania and i both got complimentary movie tickets (: thennnn rania had training, so i went down to fareast to meet bao. i swear orchard's like a maze. anyway christmas shopping was fail. giving guys presents is hard cos they don't need anything. i mean if you're buying stuff for girls anything goes. clothes shoes bag earstuds books magazine socks purse food... the list goes on and on and on. but for guys rightttt, you gotta think PRACTICAL. WHAT DO GUYS NEED! TIE, NO. RAZOR, THEY'D HAVE ONE ALREADY. CLOTHES, DUNNO COLOUR PREFERENCE. SHOES, DUNNO SIZE. so i only bought one christmas gift today and it's a book haha. anyway chilled out awhile at clarke quay with bao by the riverrrrrr. haha its funny when bao swears. read lotr on the train (I'M 3/4 THROUGH THE FIRST BOOK) came home at 12am. walao and i saw an ugly cat on the way home. thankfully it didn't mew or annoy me in any way. haha bye world
GG I'VE GOT TO STOP EATING GHIRADELLI CHOCOLATE COS IT'S 4AM NOW AND I'VE EVIDENTLY MISSED MY DETOX AND TMR I'M GONNA WAKE UP AT 4PM AND THE WHOLE VICIOUS CYCLE IS GONNA START AGAIN HAHA I NEED TO GO OUT MOREEEE.
