| this is how my day went! okay let's start from last night. after having piano lesson at my place, i went for icecream at icekimo with my piano teacher! and she treated me to a single scoop! i had banana coffee, she had nutella. and she bought a tub of icecream for my sis because my sis has ulcers in her mouth. i chose wild strawberry and lychee! yeah the icecream made me feel like a million bucks haha. came back home, surfed the net till 130am and woke up at 1230. felt like a pig because i had planned to go swimming at about 9 or 10am. ah so spent time reading my library books, and watching jamie's great italian escape. i spent 3 hours at taka in kino and coldstorage. in kino there was this annoying lady with the fake posh accent (yes i've something against these people) who was talking to her two other friends about celebrity chefs and her cooking philosophy etc damn loudly. she was telling her friends things like "i have a million recipes at home so if you need any help you can call me". i was close to strangling her because her voice was so incredibly grating, especially so since i was browsing through momofuku. then tony called and ask me to buy something for him but it was so embarrassing especially since the salesgirls were all so helpful. i mean if they weren't i could have grabbed the stuff and paid for it at the counter with no shame. but the moment i approached the section, all of them came towards me, wanting to be of assistance. so in the end i chickened out. then i headed to the basement. i bought matcha powder for 16 bucks and the lady was so nice! she gave me two chops (each for a purchase of 10 bucks) instead of one (: lurked around coldstorage for awhile. there was a lady looking for kombu and wakame, and she was going around asking the staff where to find those, and none of them knew what they were zomg. anyway i bought about 40 bucks worth of produce from coldstorage back home. i didnt realize that the block of cheese that i got cost 17 bucks. but it's aokay la there's a first for everything. so here i am! anyway i'm really really looking forward to the rest of the week! tomorrow i'm gonna make pasta. i love pasta to bits. i've been eating pasta every single day ever since prom (haha except for the days spent in malacca). and COOKOFF'S ON THURDAY! im exceedingly excited. woot we've got a theme: RED and BLACK. and there's a french outing on saturday! heh heh and now i'm trying to convince timloh to go handburger on saturday. wooot life's good
