and in my head i make a picture

HA. i just baked. okay the plan was to bake a yogurt cake with strawberries and blueberries. BUT the strawberries have really gone mouldy and the blueberries have all been eaten. looked inside my fridge and i found other stuff that needed to be used quick: cream, chocolate, and my passionfruits hahaha. i know i can just eat passionfruits just like that or on top of fresh bananas like i did for breakfast. but its abit boring yes? hm. yeah and i like having full-sized cakes in the fridge so i can cut slivers of it whenever im in need of a sugarrush. so didn't make the yogurt cake muffin-sized. yup was fairly simple to put together. mix wet, mix dry, mix together. basic muffin mixing method. recipe said 30-35 minutes but it was done in 30. haha the crust wasn't deep golden brown, quite speckled. so! i decided to cover the crust cos it wasnt really aesthetically pleasing hahaha. (and i was too lazy to pop it back into the oven/didnt wanna overcook it) sooooo i was thinking

CHOCOLATE GANACHE or PASSIONFRUIT GLAZE.

um.

so i did both.

haha!

cut the cake into half and glazed one side with passionfruit pulp that i reduced so that it would be thicker and the tang would be more noticeable, and spread the ganache one the other. okay i'm going to show you how it looks like.

DONT LAUGH OKAY

haha

TAAAAAAAAADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

heehee quite cute right. though the passionfruit pulp looks like frog eggs/spawn. but HECK. it looks interesting at least hahahahhaa. see the cake is actually quite thin, THUS, GOOD GLAZE/GANACHE:CAKE RATIO.

the interior. used flash thats why the shot came out dark.

lol my brother thought the passionfruit pulp was jelly. marita and i shared a slice of each. she liked the chocolate one better, but i preferred the passionfruit one.
